National Lay Symposium on Epilepsy : Tacloban City 2009

In line with the National Epilepsy Week 2009 every first week of September, the Epilepsy Awareness and Advocacy, Inc. (EAAI) in cooperation with the Philippine League Against Epilepsy (PLAE) conducted the National Lay Symposium on Epilepsy in Tacloban City, Leyte last September 5, 2009.

A BIG THANK YOU!

Its been a year since I started the Neutral Ground project, and never had I imagined that this humble idea of unifying a couple of camera clubs in one forum be this big today that it had exceeded its primary expectation when it was put up in July 15th last year.

Who would have thought, amidst the many criticisms and skepticism that this project would not go through and last, well gone are those days.

Here we are celebrating its first year! To date, we now have 1700 members composed of mostly Filipino photography enthusiasts both local and foreign based, over 50 camera clubs/groups. To cap all things, we've come up with the cherry on the icing! The Neutral Ground 1st Anniversary Exhibit!

Over 200 photos by 86 of NG's best photographers all over the world!

We had the exhibit's launch and anniversary grand eyeball last Friday, July 24th and it was a blast! So in behalf of the Neutral Ground moderators and exhibit volunteers, I thank you for all the support for this project!

NEUTRAL GROUND 1^st ANNIVERSARY PHOTO EXHIBIT

Enjoying Photography without Walls and Boundaries

Neutral Ground will be having its first anniversary exhibit running at the lobby of the Philamlife Center in UN Avenue, Ermita, Manila from July 21-31, 2009. The ribbon cutting and network’s grand-eyeball will be on July 24, 2009, Friday at 6:30 PM.

Sponsored by Canon Marketing Philippines, Aperture Trading, Jo Avila Photography Workshops, Philamlife Insurance Company, Manila Bulletin’s Picture Perfect, and The Philippine Star, the exhibit features over two hundred of Neutral Ground’s best of the best photos accumulated within the year from its inception last July 2008.

The exhibit will also be for the benefit of ESL.Light for Life, a mission to save kids with cancer.

The Neutral Ground is an interactive photography network of over 1500 members and 50 camera club organizations from here and abroad with one common goal in enjoying photography without walls and boundaries.
